Unknown rose from her reverie at 2:33 AM ¤ Friday, December 15, 2006 ![]() You WILL listen to The Awesome Show. And you will LIKE it. And then you will tell other people to listen and they will also like it. It'll be great. (I'm on it. Sort of. ...sometimes...) Unknown rose from her reverie at 2:45 PM ¤ Thursday, March 09, 2006 oh boy. I've done what I kept swearing I wouldn't do. I've completely abandoned my blog in favor of my lj. *sigh* *shakes head* Unknown rose from her reverie at 9:44 PM ¤ Sunday, December 25, 2005 I hope everyone had a Happy Hogswatch. I had a pretty enjoyable one myself. I watched about half of Big Fish last night before finding myself entirely too exhausted to finish it. So when I woke up this morning at 7am and couldn't get back to sleep, finishing it seemed like the thing to do. Came home around 11, but no one seemed to be home. Joe and Annze had gone to church, Mum was at a birth, no evidence of Rory, but it seemed safe to assume he was either with Joe and Annze or asleep. I put in The Two Towers and got most of the way through it before Rory woke up and Joe and Annze got home. Had bagel and lox for breakfast (been having that a lot lately...) While we were waiting for Mum to come home from the birth, Rory and I took pictures (which I haven't seen any of yet) and those of us who were at home dug into our stockings. Stocking Contents: -Four (4) pieces of chocolate; now devoured. -One (1) white chocolate bar; as yet untouched. -One (1) nifty egg timer. -One (1) light-up color change duckie. (It's lack of horns seems odd, I've gotten so used to Devil Duckies...) -One (1) package of twelve (12) scary-bad recipe cards. -One (1) Eating Healthy poster. -One (1) package of crescent binder clips. -One (1) Christmas card containing $60. -Thirteen (13) cangles. -One (1) package of Ruby Incense When Mum got home a few hours later, we opened presents. I got: -An Anne Bonney action figure. -Further proof that Oma is insane (a candle lighter and snuffer. o.O I'm completely serious). -Finding Serenity. -Ani DiFranco. -The Tracy Chapman Collection -The Serenity Visual Companion. -A saucepot and chai. ;p Rory got a Shakespeare Action Figure, Annze got Madagascar and a lot of books, Joe got a guitar, Mum got a Gogol Bordello t-shirt, and Dom got into most of a (rather large) bag of catnip and spent a good deal of the day stretched out against the wall behind my door. The family as a whole got March of the Penguins and Serenity. We had a lovely Salmon dinner and sweet potatoe pie for dessert and now I've gotten into that white chocolate after all. ;p Annze watched Madagascar and Serenity seems to have disappeared somewhere... I took Rory to look at Christmas lights and a good time was had by all. And now: A Holikwanzichrisnikkuledan Miracle!. Sweet dreams everyone. Unknown rose from her reverie at 11:10 PM ¤ Tuesday, November 08, 2005 trying to explain to my 8yr old sister why the marriage amendment is unfair: "It's like... if you like pickles and the rest of the world like olives and they say you can't ever have a sandwich because you like pickles." Not quite the same thing, I know, but I thought it was apt at the moment... maybe I'm just hungry? Unknown rose from her reverie at 5:31 PM ¤
